“My husband and myself wanted to take a moment to write about our experience in having our home built by who we refer to as the “dynamic duo,” the talented partnership of Builder Greg Grey, founder and owner of M.A.L. Construction, and his Interior Designer wife, Alex Grey, owner and founder of Living in Grey.

From the first time we met with Greg, we knew we had found someone truly outstanding in his field. His passion for his work was evident in how he spoke in detail about the workmanship and craftsmanship that goes into the construction of each and everyone of his homes, and, he was able to show us that first hand. At our next get together, Alex welcomed us with a most appreciated hot cup of coffee and muffins for breakfast, while we sat down to discuss our vision for our new home. Her insight in understanding the look and feel that we were hoping for in our home was spot on. We attribute that to her passion and love of her craft and her true design expertise. After that second meeting, my husband and I realized we had found two gems and would be very fortunate indeed to have our home built by them. 

There are naturally a multitude of decisions to be made in having a new home built. As we navigated through these choices, Greg and Alex were available to us both night and day, including weekends. They promptly returned our phone calls and emails answering each and every question by either showing us things in person, or sending us helpful photos and other vital information so that we could make informed decisions about our choices. No matter how small the matter at hand, they treated all elements of the home as something to be fully vested in to be sure we would be totally happy with the end result.

Greg exhibited the upmost in kindness and patience, in-servicing us on any parts of home construction that we wanted to learn more about. Alex went beyond the call of duty in providing fabulous design recommendations when we asked for them. They both provided positiveness and support throughout the whole process as we progressed towards this exciting new chapter in our lives and for that, we will be eternally grateful.

Now, as we get ready to move into our beautiful new home, intertwined and inseparable from the physical beauty of all the design elements that work together in perfect harmony, will be a timeless story of how this all became possible through the talents of Greg and Alex, who truly built us the home of our dreams.”
