2025 Design Trends

We are definitely seeing a lot of pattern play, color drenching, separating spaces (nixing open floor plans), traditional details (i.e. panel moulding, different edge profiles on stone), etc. I am so happy to see these interior trends persist in 2025 but we have a few here you may have not seen just yet.

Here is a fresh take on what we think we will be seeing more of in 2025 when it comes to construction and design!

DISJOINTED GROUT LINES

Kate Marker Design was the first I have seen to do this and I am loving it. Rolling with the utilization of natural materials means utilizing more natural grout lines. I can’t wait to see how this project turns out.

WOOD FLOORS IN BATHROOMS

Not for the faint of heart but I am all for it, especially if using an engineered hardwood that will hold up. I love what Ali Henrie Design did here by placing the tub over tile but still running the wood through the rest of the space.

INDUCTION RANGES

We are seeing the energy codes within new construction really crack down on environmentally friendly choices. There are some really nice looking induction ranges out there, but they are definitely pricey.

POLISHED NICKEL FINISHES

Polished Nickel is definitely the more preferred finish selection choice over Chrome or Matte/Brushed Nickel in the design world right now.
